I like this question. I think straight lines with some rounded corners, the default Material Design style of icons, are the "simplest" form when it comes to how "unique" one wants their interface's icons to be. they may not be the most simplified, but they're pretty abstract but clear in their purpose and easy to recreate by eyeballing, which can't be said for Apple's SF Symbols
